try doing a direct connection to either the inbound or outbound ip of the other computer. that should solve your problem.

Re: searing beatwin mac and win?

WELL NOTHING IS DONE BECAUSE IT A MASSEGE SES A ROOTER OR A FIREWALL DOES NOT LETS CONNECTION BEATWIN TO COMPUTERS...ALSO THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE IF THE MAC CAN SEE MY FILES LIKE THIS AND I CAN'T...IS THAT RIGHT?...SOMETHIN ELSE?....

your router is probably blocking incoming connections on one or two of limewire's ports. try editing your router setting to allow incoming connections on limewire's port(s).

THAT COULD NOT BE BECAUSE THE MAC IS ON THE SAME ROOTER...COULD IT?

are you able to see what's on the mac from the pc or what's on the pc from the mac?

It sounds like one of them is firewalled. Most likely it will be the windows one. Do this test on both mac & pc LW to see which one is firewalled: Do this test aftr LW's been open for at least 20-30 mins or more: Bug Report instructions & sample image If it says True then it's not firewalled, if False it is.

Configuring firewalls to allow LW full access: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml Are there any other firewalls you have?

It might also be a router issue with port forwarding. Is one of them port forwarded?

(Did you know if you had iTunes on both comp's then you'd be able to play each one's playlists!)
