Upload issues
 

I downloaded Limewire a couple of months so far and have fallen in love with it. I find what I'm looking for 9 times out of 10 and the connection speeds are decent-good. The one problem is uploading. I have over 4000 songs which I'd like to share, you get what you give. But I notice I hardly ever have anyone uploading off me and when they are it's at 2K, 1K rate. Is there perhaps something I'm doing wrong? I have max upload's per person at 2, and total at 20. When I was on WinMx I usually had 8-10 people uploading at a time. Most with a decent to fast speed.


Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to start sharing.

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is it True/False? If false then you're firewalled & should configure your firewall to allow LW full access; instructions: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

Also some hints (the 2nd link is the best) Murasame is best at this: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.
