Okay, it's happening again. I downloaded an episode of ****** (hdtv which I don't have on my tv); it came in over the last several days, dled smoothly until it got to the 99% mark, went to 100% and then started a loop between 99 and 100 percent. This time i didn't actually see the file verification process kick in, but I'm almost sure it did.

Anyway, I went into the incomplete folder (the file was showing up in red type) and copied it to another folder before using a media player on it. The episode was complete, despite the apparant failure at 99% and virtually flawless.

I don't understand what might be happening here. All my drives are good, I keep them defragged, I run a Pentium 4, 2400 gig. machine with 1 gig. ram.

Will one of the experts/moderators give this one some thought and let me know what they think?
