Yea I bought the 50 dollar lifetime membership which is good for 99 years of slow creeping downloads and "not enough sources" messages to last me for the rest of my freakin life.
So i'll bend over and someone can bone me up de patoot now..

As Peerless said, you have already been "boned up de patoot" but you did not know it was happening at the time (hope you were smiling:)).

Limewire is free to download and Limewire Pro costs less than $19 (US), which includes six months worth of free upgrades.

So stop being so bitter and twisted, contact your bank or credit card company and try and get your money back. Mind you, you will have to explain how you managed to "give your money away" for something that is freely available (Bone number 2:p).

Now that you are no longer a virgin (and you paid for this privilege:D), in future you will be more selective about who you bend over for, i.e. do a little research before you part with your money.

So... there are scads of very nice, professional looking websites that offer "legal, free" mp3 downloads... etc... and they make you pay... then they give you a link to the free LimeWire download page... etc... total scams!

How the hell is any poor novice supposed to know these are a scam?

I suppose, it is poetic justice... this website (GNUTELLA FORUMS) gets funded by the scam artists, so that they can afford to run a helpful website for Gnutella users...

Novice users may trust those ads, since they are here, and see some good, useful information, otherwise!

Yet, some ADS are for SCAMS!
