To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. Members need to supply these details >>> System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Moderators There are senior members on the forums who serve as Moderators. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned.  Download problems. I have got a 1mb internet connection and have been able to download movies and other large files in the past, quite easily. However, when I try to download now the speed only reaches 1kb/sec or doesn't work at all. Could someone tell me what the reason for this occuring is and how to fix the problem. if someone could reply as soon as possible i would be very grateful.  |

| I have same set up and same sort of problem...only extra is that it happens with all the files im downloading. They sometimes (once in a while) appear to be downloading at average or good speeds and all of a sudden the speeds drop on ALL downloads to 0KB/s. I have checked the uploads and people can upload files from me normally with speeds reaching their maximum but the problem only appears to be taking place with DOWNLOADS only. I have recently upgraded to Limewire Pro to resolve this issue but shortly after installing and running the program it did the same thing. Its almost like as if there is some type of limit. My connection with talk talk does not have any download limits so this is getting really annoying. If anyone can help me and this other dude on this forum I think we will be more than happy. I normally manage to resolve problems one way or another but this is the first time I have posted in a forum as I have almost given up after searching for some type of solution.
