Won't allow me to download file, thinks I already have it Anyone ever tried to download a file that has never been downloaded to your computer before, and when that particular item comes up in the search results, it's got the little icon for "I'm already downloaded" next to the file name? Some files that this happens with, I am able to dbl-click on, and they start to download. Others, however, WILL NOT BUDGE. If I did happen to have the file, the ones that will download will ask me if I want to replace the old copy... Either way, they'll d/l no problem, but others won't. I can dbl-click, click the Download button, right-click and click Download, and NOTHING happens. I've looked through my entire library, and did a search on my entire hard drive for this file or anything close to it, and it turned up nada. Is there any way to reset LimeWire so it doesn't think it d/l'd it already?? T8r |
I'm no expert on anything, but have you tried to go to find and type in the file name that it says you have? Maybe there you can delete it and then try again. I don't know, just a thought. |
