I'm only running at 6 KB a second..

Why is this?

I'm running on broadband... I Downloaded Limewire once, and it worked fine. Then I reformated my computer and D/L it again, and now it isnt running very fast at all.

Any suggestions? Firewall maybe?

I know what you mean, the exact same problem is happening with me and i formatted 2. I'm only reaching a max download speed of 5kbps if anyone could help me i'd really appreciate it.

You guys aren't the only one. I have high-speedthat was clocked at 981.7 kbps and when I DL on LimeWire, I get like anywhere from 5 -12 kbps. Can anyone help us?!

Well, looks like we all have the same problem... Hope someone can help us.. do we need to download a patch or some update that I dont know about or something???
