PLEASE HELP-accidentally cleared inactive downloads-can i get them back?

am using 4.8.1 PRO on OSX 10.2.8.
My daughter hit the keyboard and somehow cleared all of the inactive downloads. How do I get all of the incomplete downloads to load on start-up again?
