Disconnect and Crash now!!!
 

The moment I open Limewire Pro and it connects with an uploader, it disconnects and crashes now..... it just happened 7 times in a row!!!

Not only the slowest p2p around.... now you can't even connect...any advice...

I have tried reinstalling..... theres only really Kazaa or Bearshare left as a viable alternative cos this is going down like a lead balloon:( :mad:

forget limewire, try imesh

Make sure that you have the latest version of LimeWire and the latest version of Java. You should completly uninstal both LW and Java. After uninstalling, restart your computer and reinstall LW and Java, then restart again. If the problem persists, chances are that your problems are being caused by another part of your system, not LW. Good luck.

I have downloaded the latest version of Limewire and of Java Runtime Environment . I installed Java first and Limewire 4.8.1. I also have 2 spyware programs I have run every couple days, Spybot and Ad-Aware SE, removing all spyware.

I still get crashes, with my computer freezing up. I can't go online and download from Limewire, as I used to. Sometimes Limewire freezes up my entire computer when I run it alone and don't go online.

My OS is Windows XP Professional

Please help!!
