Default Ethernet SHARING

Ok, now i have to computers connected on the same network at home.

One through airport the other one through basic ethernet. Now i've seen one can share the music from one computer to the other, and in limewire when i search for a song i have in one computer it will say in speed (ethernet) and it will download faster.

However i dont know how to set it up, and ive tried with my laptop and desktop and still havent been succesful....

Any ideas?

Default Not enough information

Helo

Your asking how to network your systems I think, you would be better off going to a fourm for your operating system. For XP it is
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/e...ewsgroups.mspx

Also found by clicking start, help and support, news groups. You can search the group.

Anyway you do it, you need to tell them your operating system, type of network, etc..., give then way more informationthen what you posted here.

To help yourself and if your running XP search Limewire for 'Windows XP inside and out". I have both the hard copy frayed almost beyond use and a softcopy, would'nt be without, kind of like being barefoot in a feild of glass!

1) RTF-Forum-Rules

2) I'm not quite sure what you're planning to do. I mean this is a LW related forum and sharing over Ethernet via LimeWire seems to work.

Default A little help please...

What i mean by ethernet sharing is, that i have to computers on the same network and i want to download the music from one computer to the other via limewire,....

now ive seen this done, when you search in the speed, instead of lets say t1 appears ethernet... in blue...

So hope this can let yopu help me a little more.

Take care
