Download of standard limewire for Mac OS X
 

Don't seem to be able to dowload mac os x standard version of limewire. Does anyone experience the same problem? Are there solutions ?

I just tried (with safari), and the basic downloaded just fine, and the .dmg mounted OK too.

So, doesn't look like there is a problem with the download of the mac os x version here . . .

Download of limewire via safari just hangs. Are there any speciall settings to disable prior to selecting download ?

no, but you may want to delete any partially downloaded installers from the desktop first, and use Safari's "Empty Cache" command from the Safari Menu first before you try again.
