Cant DL anymore
 

Until a couple days ago i have had no problems downloading files. Now i can search and i ge ta list of files but when i click to download it says connecting for about 30 secs. and then need more sources or waiting for busy hosts. what is wrong and how can i fix it. nothing has changed on my end. my friend has lw pro and is having the same problem. HELP!!!!

Have you configured your firewall to allow LW full access; instructions (best to only have one active FW b/c 2 can interfere with each other): http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then you may have a firewall issue.

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Some hints:

* After opening LW wait 10 to 20 mins before using. Let it settle down 1st.

* From the search results try to only choose those with 3 or 4 stars & many sources under the #column.

* Don't downld too many files at once.
