can't re-download...LW already open
 

I downloaded LimeWire and it worked great for about a week. Then it said "corrupted installation" and would not open. It said to re download it again. When I went back to the site to download I got through the first 3 or so steps and it said that LimeWire was already open and that I had to close it first. I don't see how it is open and obviously can't find how to close it. Also, will I still have all the music I downloaded? Please help!!:(

Do a Control+Alt+Delete using your keyb'd to bring up the process manager. Have a look for limewire on the list & cancel every listing you can see (there might be more than one!)
Then go to Start menu >Programs>LW>uninstaller, & uninstall LW. Then re-install LW. But save the installer to your computer 1st before installing it.
