Big problem with movies
 

hi all

i got a major problem :(

i just downloaded 2 movies The replacements and Remember the titans

they were full downloaded wheni went to my shared file and tryed to play them i got this **** that the was a fault with downloading the codec so no movie !!!!

and only sound :mad: :mad: :mad:

this realy makes me pist but wht can i do about it??

Looks like you need xtra CODECs then; here's a choice of codecs brands you can get:
1. http://www.free-codecs.com/ 2. http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/
3. http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html 4. http://lists.gpick.com/pages/CoDecs.htm

A piece of advice is to get a back up player such as one with built-in codecs. DivX player is good. Also this one which is very popular: VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site)

Of course not, well I'd hope not. It's a player problem. Just install the codecs & you should be fine. Get GSpot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ which will identify which codecs you need.

Also get VLC which has built in codecs. It's handy to have around I can assure you.
