download problems
 

First off, I appologise if this is not the correct place to post this question/problem.

I have been downloading simcity 4 deluxe edition for the past 3 weeks and finally today the file download was completed.

The download contained 2 zip files for CD 1 and CD 2 of the game + the no CD crack and serial.

I burned both CD 1 and CD 2 and began to install the game when midway through it asks me to insert CD 2. I do so and hit OK but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong? It does not seem to recoginise the second disk.

Again sorry if I sound green at this because I am...first cracked download EVER!

try burning each of the downloaded files to two separate cds (the extracted files only

use the cds to install it that way

Actually that is exactly what I did. The originall download was one zip file containing two smaller zip files: one for CD 1 and the other for CD 2.

CD 1 installs perfectly but when prompted for CD 2 it does not get recognized for some reason.

any other suggestions??

Another way is to find ISO files of the game, one for each disc, then d/load 'VIRTUAL DRIVE' off the net. The comp thinks Virtual drive is a legit drive and the ISO file for the second disc is the play disc.
