Very Low Number Of Search Results

I am getting a very low number of search results and if i redo the search the same results comes again. I have disabled my winxp firewall and is having a broadband connection. Other p2p application give more results. What should be the problem?

If you're running 2 p2p share programs at the same time then they will compete for bandwidth.

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?

Go to Tools>Options>Searching & tell us what your settings are.

Some tips & xtra skills of LW use (see all the off-shoot links): To continue files downlding (click on link)

Is the XP firewall the only firewall you have?

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider?

7. I am trying to connect from my home
8. i am using Limewire LimeWire 4.9.0
9. My ISP provider is Eircom

i dont have a static ip address now. i have enabled LimeWire in my custom services and the setting is as follows:

no search results!

i just downloaded limewire yesterday. everything went fine, i had a few connection problems but in the end i got connected and got a few songs i've been wanting.

anyway, today i finally got connected and began to search. none of the bands i searched for produced results. finally, i put "****" in because i knew there should be results for **** and if there wasn't any results something was wrong.

no results for even "****".... so i am guessing something is wrong.

the only songs i could get to come up were the two i had in my shared folder.

i don't know what to do.
