See How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) The easiest way is to use Add to Library ... command under iTunes' File menu. Select multiple songs at once using the SHIFT command. The default location for your downld folder is: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

You could always enter your save folder from the desktop and then right click on your files and select the open with option.
This will automaticaly open up Itunes with your files ready and waiting.

A different way of doing the same job, it's all down to preference.
