 slow downloads recently I've been using Limewire for probably two years now and the downloads have always been fast. Two weeks ago, my friend who uses the same ISP as me (Optimum Online) here in NY called me and asked whats up with Limewire and the slow downloads. I checked for myself and I'm having the same problem now. Most downloads are around 1-2Kbps, if they start at all. I'm using the Linux version of Limewire 4.8.1. Is anyone else having this problem, that didn't in the past? Is it possible that OptOnline is throttling our bandwidth for P2P apps? Thanks  |
