Somebody HELP ME! NO SUCCESS in downloading
 

Hi,

I am new to limewire. I downloaded it yesterday along with Java. I use dial-up - ya! BUT it works perfectly with AOl on my laptop, Win 98 2nd edition, 64MB Ram and still have 1.65GB of free space. All I want is to download some songs to make myself a cd. I started last night at 10pm and now at 5pm, I've been online most of the time - I've had no success. I chose modem songs first thinking thats all I could access, but them T3 or T1 as well. It takes about 2 hours to download 5% and then the files are corrupt. Even though some songs show that 143 people have downloaded it.

What shall I do? I really really really need help!
I am frustrated and sad. Glad there is a forum where I can get help. Thanks!

Customer service is closed until Monday. I'd love to download some music over the weekend - would the moderators be able to share some experience? advice?

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
