I am guessing you are all running the new beta version 4.9.7 which I am also running fortunatley I am not having the same problem as you. I just went to the official LimeWire site and tried to DL 4.8.1 but it gave me 4.9.7 I do not believe this is suposto be happening because there is a link below it for the new beta, that takes you to 4.9.7, Hopefully they will get this straighten out soon and get the link back to 4.8.1 since so many people are having troubble with the new beta. If you have a old copy of limewire on your computer you can uninstall the current version you are using and install the old one other than that I do not know how to solve your problem since I have never had that problem my guess it is somthing in the way that LimeWire is set up or you may be behind a Firewall.
