Then you're a bit silly for having such private info in a share folder. Else move the shared files out into another folder & share that one. LW version 5 will have the option of which files you share in a particular folder.

If you don't want to share any files for a particular moment then go to LW's menu Tooles>Opshons>Uplords & type zero into both the boxes & press apply. You could also close LW & re-open after this & that would definitely make sure of it. I'm guessing you're on dial up connection or DSL with up/down speeds relative to each other. Otherwise you're probably mistaken & making poor judgement & actions.
