Default Is that all the movies??

I have just subscribed at moviedownloadworld for 1000's of movies. Downloaded Limewire (and K-litePro).

The only criteria I type in is DVD movie and other than all the porn stuff in there, there is bugger all good movies, is this all I get?

First of all, you subscribed to a scam site that lied to you because no one and no company can guarantee you 1000's of movies (didn’t this bit strike you as too good to be true). You see, your scam site doesn’t host anything all they have done is conned you into believing they do and then provided you with a URL link to LW Basic and KLite, and that is all you've got.

You can try to get your money back by contacting your payment provider, telling them you were conned by one of the hundred or so websites that specialise in conning newbies out of their money.

However newbie Toby, I think you newbies make it so easy for scam sites to con you out of your money, is it any wonder that so many of them exist. The internet is awash with scam sites because newbies are so easily taken in by improbable adverts, carry out no research on the company before parting with their money and, above all, seem to suffer from a temporary loss of common sense.

If I am wrong then please tell me otherwise newbie work out why it is you were so easily scammed.

You will find that site listed here: Known Scam Sites (click on link) & if you go to page 1 you'll see how you have been scammed.

Default Ok, what to do now?

I now have LimeWire & BitComet on my PC.

I have been mucking around all nite trying to download movies, bitcomet has been running really slow and so has Limewire.

I have read a bit about forwarding ports etc but have gotten totally confused, apparently it will speed up the downloading process.

Can anyone out there help me from start to finish?

First time scammed, not bad really!!!!!

Hi Toby3, can you tell us what connection devices you have? What brands & models of modem/router(s)?

BTW LW will run much faster if you run it on its own without another p2p program running at the same time.
