![]() I'm not sure that a corrupted file is one that contains the word %^*@ <G> There seem to be various types of corruption as detected by Limewire. One type can be downoaded and will play, it may be "corrupted" because it has a second or two missing off the end. If I get this type of corupted file, and am pretty sure I cannot replace it, I "convert it to mp3" using iTunes(As you have iTunes you will undersand the strangeness of that remark) and it should be fine ... I have no idea what other types of corruption there are, but as a lot of viruses appear to be getting through, I suspect that limewire does not necessarily pick up on Virus infected files being corupt. |
