Unhappy How to restore accidentally 'killed' files in incomplete folder?

For some reason the files I was downloading were terminated all transferred to the incomplete folder. Before I could resume them, and they would begin downloading at the point where I stopped them like say 50% or something like that. But now even if they are in the incomplete files, when I resume them, they all just go back to zero.........its so troublesome to download everything all from the start and some of the files are hard to find........does anybody know how to fix this problem? Please help! How do I resume it with the already saved percentage I have already in my pc so I dont need to go back from zero. :-(

From my perspective there was nothing "accidental" about it. LimeWire ALWAYS asks for confirmation for the actions you are requesting. Always. So figure out WHY you did WHAT you did and don't do it again. Going back and starting over is a small price to pay. At least you know where to start. THINK BEFORE YOU HIT THE DELETE button.

If I really knew how to reverse bad decisions:

I would never have enlisted in the ARMY

I would have never married My EX

I would have learned LINUX

i was actually playing a quite huge video file on my dvx and then limewire crashed.....said something about being corrupted and then when my pc hang and when i restarted it i found all my downloading files empty and they were all in the incomplete files...one of the files i was earlier downloading also happened to be corrupted.....i dont know whats the reason for this.......i tried restoring my pc (system restore to an earlier time) before it crashed but still all my downloading files are gone. they're in my incomplete folder i can still play them and listen to them all right but when i resume them all each goes back to zero..........

If you don't close LW down properly before you shutdown your comp or your comp crashes then a corruption of the downld preferences tends to be the result. No easy answer unfortunately. Your post & the topic name seem to be different.
