Ultrapeer

I used limewire a lot in the past bt then my pc broke and i had to restart my system. Along with some new internal components, i found myself completely internetless until i subscribed to a wanadoo 2meg package.
When the hardware first arrived and began full connectivity, i rushed to the limewire site to d/l the best file sharing program on the planet.
Once it installed and began running, i had a slight niggle with it and my internet connection in that every time i tried to run limewire, my connction would automatically disconnect. I sorted this after some intense brain racking and i was very happy that perhaps now i could continue with my music downloading.
This was not the case though. To my dismay, my searches come back with no results even for massive well known bands, such as incubus or eminem. And if im lucky enough to actually see any results, it only finds 3 or 4 at the max. They either d/l ridiculously slowly or not at all.
When i click on monitor, a message is shown to me that i think is the cause of the nusience, but i dont quite know how to resolve it myself. That message is as follows:
Your Client Is A Leaf Node Shielded By An Ultrapeer. Hence You Will See Few Or No Results In The Monitor Window.

Before when i had limewire i could monitor files fine, and d/l stuff fine, bt now i get this message and i can barely d/l anything.
Thanks for your time, and i hope i can inspire a message bk for the resolution of this problem.
Thanks again

Salut, a leaf node gets more results from searches than ultrapeer. It seems LW has trouble to connect, what are your firewalls? Norton? built-in XP2 firewall? What kind of modem, do you connect with router? Is your ethernet card worth scrap?

Ciao
