What is this whole thing for?

I was led to this site by an associate to download music. I spent an hour and a half trying. I'm hardly computer illiterate and so can't figure out why I can't do so. Some help on this issue would be appreciated.

Nevermind..... issue resolved by looking elsewhere for downloads. What a disappointment!
