I have been sharing, downloading on P2P networks long before Lars Ulrich discovered Napster and have yet to get caught. It all depends on how active you are as a user. Here's a hint, if sharing only share about 50-100 files, if you share over a 1000 files, you could get caught, if downloading and not sharing, I read they are only going after the ones they can catch from the US who are sharing large amounts of files, not sure about downloaders. When I share, I share very small amounts, mainly old music, rare music and thats it.
