Hey, I've had Limewire for about 2 months now, and now whenever i try to download something, all it says is "queued". I'll leave it for a while, but it still won't download anything. Whats going on/ how can I fix this?

If it's been a long term problem then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire
Otherwise: See the following link & follow all the off-shoot links to find hints & extra skills to help solve your problem: To continue files downlding (click on link) QUEUED = LW is too busy to handle the particular files. All files are queued when you 1st open LW. If you resume/find sources then that will make them queue for much, much longer. I'd recommend you let LW settle be that take 10, 20 mins or longer. Then do some searches & apply other search techniques as recommended in my link. If you've made a note of a host who has many files you want, then you can attempt to direct connect to them. Browsing can also have the same effect of continuing incomplete files from a host you have several incompletes from. It can start up many older incomplete downlds using such methods. |
