able to connect but not download I just moved to a new apartment complex and I'm currently using the LAN connection that they provide. I'm not sure of the providers name and whether they permit P2p but I have tried all of the "fixes" listed on the forum and I'm still unable to download any files. I have an excellent connection and I get my searches back quickly, but when I try to download a file I get the same "need more sources" reply even if there are #50 files avail. If it helps I am using limewire4.8.1, and I had no previous problems when SBC was my internet provider. PS, if the problem lies with my provider can I request them to "unblock" my isp? |
I forgot to mention that when I used the www3.limewire.com:3436 test I received the "this page can not be displayed" response, and on the other test listed I received the reply "stealth" rather than open or closed. |
