poor downloading speed, wierd things...

Hi. I have the latest version of LW installed on my system. i'm on psci Wireless (384K/128K) and im behind a router (I have correctly forwarded the port required, and it works...before i couldnt even connect) Im on XP, and i have no firewalls or anything of that sort enabled.

My concern is this: LW will connect and fil up all of the connection bars. I can search anything and download it. Only thing is that it wont download anything faster than like 3 kbps...Ive tried to download some really popular songs and they dont fare much better. but heres the real kicker...If i leave the computer alone then LW says that i dont have any internet/firewall is blocking. all connection bars are red. but its downloading my files at 3kbps...when i connect manually, they d/l at 0-1 k. i find this odd. I used to be able to d/l stuff at like 30k...and thats what my step-bro can do on his computer on the other end of the router.

Any ideas?
