Unsigned 'Compressed' files

Dam'n! I accidentally selected the zip option on my new limewire pro 4.9.23 that does not allow you to download any compressed folder that is unsigned, which is just about all of them! Is there anything i can do about this? It is really p**sing me off now! (sorry for language):D
