downloading problem....HELP

my specs:
windows xp
LimeWire BASIC
DSL

PROBLEM:

I can search for songs, that works fine. I select the song i like and then click on "download". Then, (i dont exactly know where i am suppose to go to see my downloads while they are downloading) i go to the monitor screen and the library screen and there is nothing there. So basically, i click on download and nothing actually downloads.

In a previous thread, someone seemed like they had the same problem as me and this is hte response he recieved: "did you click no to the license popup then tick always use this answer? if yes, search the forum for "license popup"

I do recall doing this and i dont know how to fix it. PLEASE post anything you think will help.
