How come whenever I download a avi file its corrupted and doesnt work?

You need the Div X codec, type it in google and dload it.

Ok after i Download the Div X, I double click the vid in limewire and it opens up and starts playing in real media and goes all screwy what am I supposed to do with the Div X thing to fix it?

Ok well that told me what to download it didnt tell me what to do, can you just tell me what to do rather then sending me to some site with 1 million sencteces looking for one friggen word. :mad: :confused: :confused:

hey I can give you an advice so you can be able to see what's not corrupted from the avi file... ( I can't tell you why it's corrupted but may be it will help...) try to rebuild the index of the file with this program: DivFix.
