I can D/L But it Disappears!
 

I haven't downloaded for a few months, but now I'm trying and it goes through the process, but then totally disappears out of the list and is not in the library with all my old downloads either. I've done a search on my computer and can't find it anywhere. Where could the files be going as soon as the download is complete?

help us out a bit here please! Are you still using the same LW or have you updated it> What Computer are you using. etc



Is this one file ... or lots the odd file sometimes dissapears without trace, I have found.

Thanks for the reply. It was happening to everything I downloaded. I just uninstalled and reinstalled and things are back to normal again....not sure what was going on there, but even the files that were disappearing reappeared in the library, so all is well. I can't even begin to guess what was going on...
But, I don't remember the files moving into the library out of the downloading on their own~ I thought I always moved them there~but at least now I'm finding them in the library after downloading and before I uninstalled and reinstalled, they were not there in the library.

im pretty sure that the probelem is that limewire is set do delete files that have not connected and downloaded more since the defalt 20 days. you can change the defalt to fix this

Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Saving & change the Days to keep incomplete files from 7 to a large number like 999 & press apply button.

That sounds like a definate possibility. Thx
