Bob UK: I must have overdone the message length because my message window was suddenly bonged out.

Anyway, all I was saying, really, was a big thank you to yourself and one or two others who have come to my aid. Also, that I have been lucky in the past and have only needed to employ McAfee's Viruscan because I have mainly used the computer for research stuff - a subject that is less likely to have silly-minded hackers dancing around it...

I hope you won't mind my clinging to your sleeve from time to time...

Anyway, thanks for all the assistance and advice.
