Update to the latest version of LW: version 4.9.28

Defrag your HDD & do a disk & file check with your utilities.

If your d/l reached 100% than your files are (100% on your computer) in library -> incomplete files. Here click explore and a folder will open... don't acces them before a antivirus scan !!! but don't froget:

I have a similar problem. I have ms office 2003 student & teacher and a newbie to all this (please be patient) :)
How exactly do I "Defrag my HDD and do a disk and file check with utilities"? This problem only started to happen after I downloaded LimeWire 4.9.28.

1. Click Start->Run. Enter "scandisk" and click OK. Scandisk will open....

2. Click Start->Run. Enter "defrag" and click OK. Disk Defragmenter will open....

3. Post a reply so I know if it worked !!! (here on this thread NOT private messages !!!) by doing this you can help other people who are having the same problemes !!!

All windows operating systems will have something similar. Which operating system version do you have? (eg: win 98, win 2k, win xp)

(Dagam3 that's a big improvement on your last signature. That's great! ;))

than try to serch "files or folders" with that keywords ... and from results run scandick.exe and defrag.exe

On my computer win 2k it's called Disk Defragmenter & is found here: C:\Docs & Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools
