ok, next step, do you have a 'my downloads' folder or a place where you keep installs or Limewire? You can begin to do a fresh install. and once it installs, it should go to you C:/Programs. and in your Doc Settings folders, that is the only place other than your start menu. when you install let the program create a desktop icon for ya to click on. let me know how ya do? ;)

Go to the offical Limewire site. and start fresh.

www.limewire.com and download the latest free, basic, version into a 'downloads folder' or, wherever you keep installs on your c: drive. where do you keep installs on your drive? You should always keep a 'my downloads' folder handy for installs.

ok, I just found all my old downloads and I renamed it my downloads, I'll try installing it there, I'll let you know how it goes
