opening a downloaded program
CALL ME COMPUTER STUPID!! Somebody out there help me please. I have down-loaded microsoft word. I can find the files and have done the extraction wizard. But now how do i get the stupid thing to actually open up and run? What am I missing?

I will give you the stock answer: If you downloaded ms word from limewire (which I assume you did) that is piracy and piracy talk is forbidden on this forum, hence the link to the forum rules.
My advice is to go buy the disc and you shouldn't have any problems.

Limewire does not support or advertise piracy. It just supplys a file sharing program, what a person chooses to do with it is their decision. Just like if you choose to speed in your car it is not the car makers fault.
Are you sure you got your version from the official site: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...um_intro.shtml there are a lot of scam sites out there.
