avi movie preveiwing Can anyone help. I am having a nightmare with the movies to download. When I click on an avi movie to download I want to preveiw it after 1% to see if it's what I want but non of my movie players will play it. Also I am fed up with downloading a movie in mpeg only to find it's not the movie I want. Can anyone help me?????? Cheers |
Get VLC to preview your files! http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) It has in-built codecs. ;) Other things to be aware of: 1. CODECs list and alternate players for Movies 2. Hi Chris I have found that with most, if not all, movies you can't preview them unless you have at least 10% or more downloaded, even with the VLC media player. So, I'm afraid, 1% won't do it you need more, lots more. There is probably a technical reason for this but, at this point, I couldn't say (don't know). UK Bob |
