I cant seem to download anything.... whenever i double click the thing i wan to download it doesnt do anything! i double click and the icon stays the same (because usually it has that symbol that says you are downloading it). PLEASE HELP!

Are you running 4.9.30, if your not your posting in the wrong forum for this subject. Also there is a sticky at the top of the beta release forum on how to give a stack report that will be helpful for the moderators.

revert your popups. to do that, check through the options in tools > options
