no picture in video files
 

I have downloaded two video files that I'm only getting audio for. These are the only two video files I've downloaded so far and don't want to keep wasting time downloading more if they're not going to give me audio as well as visual. Is there a certain program I need to view them or something? Or did I just get two coincidentally crappy files?

I would recommend VLC because it has in-built codecs. Also get GSpot as it will tell you which codec you need. It sounds like a codec issue. Have a look at the Sticky at the top of this section for links.
