New user could use some help plz
 

Hi.
I downloaded Limewire basic earlier and it worked ok, and gave ok speeds.

So i upgraded to pro...and now its gotten far worse and i dont understand.

Can anyone give any advice?

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Tried that, no change.
Also it onyl ever seems to let 1-2 d/l go at a time, while others stay connecting forever...

Is pro supposed t be faster or anything or can i switch back to basic?

Is there anything else that's changed about your computer. Did you do a system update, update patches, etc.? Change any settings anywhere? Which version of LW did you have before you updated your LW?

No nothings changed.

I uninstalled and went back to basic version but now thats bad also :(

I did a speed test on a link i found somewhere on these forums and it was like 4080 kbps or something, which means i shud be on t3 or higher right?

wen something actually gets going it varies form about 1-20 kb a sec but normally only one thing will d/l at a time the rest just stall on ocnnecting....

speed i got on that link u gave was around 60k a sec, but then after a min or so Limewire froze :(
