Last Purchase Date 2005-08-12 20:10:12-04

Time Since Last Purchase

There is nothing after Time Since on mine.

Only A Hobo September 24th, 2005 01:46 PM

hmm technical issues>Last purchase date .... That is filled in with the date and time

Under that ..." Time since last purchase" ...that's blank

then operating system

I notice that in the "other issues" section the LW choice only goes to 4.9.28

same on Opera and IE

I don't see a "it's been....." box anywhere

I rechecked Safari with cleared cookies and cashe still no joy. I typed in an invalid E-address still went to the download page

Thanks Grandpa

I'm a few days over the 6 mo limit since my last Pro, so just wanted to check if that was a factor. I think the "grace" period was to the 15th of each month or something like that.

Hobo--nice catch on the 4.9.28 cause!

Fixes on PRO support page.

The missing option for LimeWire 4.9.30 on the "Other Issues" form has been taken care of, won't happen again on any other form.

About the "Get Support" button, can you tell me the URL of where this is happening, maybe there's a weird redirect on it that Safari can't request properly and our webserver missunderstands returning a 404 page which is our download page.

As for the 'Time Using' blank field, I'll get back to you soon on that, it will either be there, or removed completely.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks

As far as Safari is concerned: here's what Safari's Activity window shows when clicking the "Get Support" button that kicks to the download page:

I guess I didn't phrase my question correctly, or maybe I don't understand where the "Get Support" button is.

Is this a button inside the LimeWire application?
or is this a button you're clicking inside the website, if so, please let me know the URL(s) where you see this button, if not, let me know where on limewire pro I can see a "Get Support" button.

On anycase I want to see what this button or link is doing so I can fix it.

Thanks.

Hi Stief, Please try it again with Safari, It should be working now.

My guess is the following. Those support pages have this tag:
Quote:

<base href="http://www.limewire.com/english/content/">
to be able to reuse all the styles and images.

The forms didn't have their "action" property specified, and probably Safari, instead of posting to the same url, was posting to the same url, but appending it to http://www.limewire.com/english/content/
this is probably causing a 404, I have to checkout the logs to confirm this theory.

For now, please try it again with Safari, I'm guessing the problem should be solved by now.

Thanks.

nice work gubatron--it WORKS! :)

btw--once entered into the Pro Support Center, the "I have a suggestion" leads to the dead (since this summer) JIRA. Maybe a redirect to http://www.gnutellaforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=24 would be better.

There are still other suggestions for the Pro page and Support Center (email address updating; anniversary date clarification; "grace period"), so if you open a thread asking for more or better suggestions, we could direct Pro user problems/suggestions there.

Thanks again for the fix.
