Download problems... question

I'm using the newest version of Limewire and I've been able to download practically everything I've wanted to get. My problem though is that some of the files I'm trying to get end up as failure in downloads and when I do a search to find other files for the same thing, they come up with a broken box or something. Sometimes I've been able to find new ones and other times those are the only ones I see pop up. Can I try again with those or will they still fail to download?

Anyone has any suggestions?

If a download fails eg if the host goes off line or if you terminate a download your self the incomplete file resulting (it may be zero in size) can be seen in your library in the incomplete folder. A broken icon indicates that you have part of that file(possibly of no size) and if you go to download that file again, it should restart your incomplete file from where you left off. Whether this will prove as successful as trying a fresh download of another copy of the file, is a gamble, but I tend to find the broken icon files, when they appear, recommence fine as a rule.

INCOMPLETE FOLDER BROKEN!!! HELP!!!

SORRY to add to this post, but could someone tell me how to post a question!!!

I have a problem with a "Broken" folder. I have set up my limewire pro v12 to save on a disk in my other computer, now everytime I download I get the message disk error. When I view library - the Incomplete File Folder's is "broken" any clue on how to fix this.....

Don't panic!! The normal symbol next to the incomplete folder is a torn file:D
To start a new thread, just go to the forum section that you want to post in & click on New Thread (top left, underneath User CP).

The disk problem is tricky... first question is how much HDD space do you have left? Defragmenting the hard drive has fixed it for some people. Also see these threads
