Wont let me Choose?!

I have just today installed the new version of LW and for some reason LW will not, i repeat WILL not let me choose where i can down load my content to... when i had the 4.8 version it would let me D/L to a "F" drive..Anytime now when i try and change where i want to D/L it tells me that i dont have permission to write to that "file"?? Actually it says that the selected save folder is invaild or i dont have permissions to write to that folder??!!?? Why not is my question

I downld to F drive without problems. I'm using LW 4.9.28 I think. Not sure why you should all of a sudden be having problems. (I wonder if it's related to a M$ security update or something.) Control panel > Admin Tools > Comp Management to set up permissions to particular folders. Make sure you have permissions for that drive. Something else you could try is deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire
