m3u files..? why is it i download an mp3 file but when i save it it says m3u? is there any way to convert or even set to default so its in mp3 format. ive tried using different audio converters but still no joy. appreciate any help |
I think you're getting confused here. You're downlding an mp3 file. But then you're creating a playlist & saving the playlist (m3u). A playlist itself does not contain music. It is simply a document that has links & points to the location of the mp3 file. So, you can import that m3u file into any other player that can play m3u playlist files. But remember, the music itself is still wherever it was when you created the playlist. BUT, if you move or delete those mp3's after you created the playlist, then the m3u playlist won't work. To access your music files from your downld folder: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) After you downld your mp3 music, I would recommend you move it somewhere safe such as your system Music folder. |
