Status: Connecting...
 

To anyone who is willing to listen and help.

I am having a problem with my Downloads. I can obtain results and even download using What's New, but everytime i try and download specific files that i search for using the Specific Select Search type, all i get is a Status of "Connecting...".

the Results can varey from 6 - 412 for the specific file being downloaded and it still will not download.

i have tried multiple specific files with the same problem.

My connections are strong and the world is not blocked by a firewall, so i don't know what the problem is!

any help would be appriciated!

Do the bars turn green for you when you connect? I get that message a lot too seems to happen to me if Ive been on for a long time or my internet is lagging or my cable has disconnected. what kind of connection do you have? Check your settings in LW to make sure you got it configed properly, and check the Limewire's licence to see what you got it set at? and I dont rec. you not having any protection while downloading, hava a AV running & a firewall if not using windows firewall then get a third party one for protection.
