You may need to take "Download Lisense Files only" off

Heres whatca
Open LimeWire
Click Tools>then Options>then Searhing Tab>Then Basic>Then CLick Show Licence Warning

then searh and find a download u wish to download and when it ask u if u wish to download a file without a licence CLICK YES!

And ur done!

I've done that, but it still doesn't work.

Check whether, when you go to download something, the stars (usually on the left) change to an open folder with an arrow. If this is the case you may need to size the download window manually. This is done either by clicking on the BLACK arrows to the bottom left of the search window, or if there are none by clicking on a spot at the bottom centre of the search window and dragging the bottom of the frame up.

Have you all just started using limewire today????

Hi Sony ... welcome to the forums. It is actually a rule of the forums that personal contact details ... even your own are not displayed in the forums. There are many reasons, one being to protect users from floods of spam and other unwelcome attention ... also if help is given to forum users, it is an advantage if others can learn from the answers.

Best....... Hobo

Go into options or preferences ... I suspect something needs changing there.

Downloads: Ensure Maximum downoads reads 1 or more .. up to say 10

Download Bandwith .. This should be set at about 85%

Uploads Basic... Bandwidth also about 85%

Connections > enable connection on start up

Pop ups ... Click revert to default. (Do ing this will ensure that you see the message mentioned by Sony Then Follow his instructions carefully and tick co not show me this again.

EDIT Aftter making any changes Click apply and when you've finished OK!!!!

See if any of this helps.
