Where are my songs???????
 

Hey,
I've been using Limewire for quite some time now and today I went to use it and half my songs were gone! I've search all other folders, files etc but can't find them. I'm sure that they couldn't have just disappeared since the other half are there and functional.

I hate to say this but it sounds like you may have deleted them by accident. Are you using your Limewire 'shared' folder to store them?

Well I guess I'm just an idiot but I sware I don't think I did delete them, thats something I would remember...Man, I had some good songs too, but its gonna take forever to remember them all :( :( :(

Im not sure how but in Windows there's supposed to be a way to recover lost files by searching. It was mentioned in another thread. Nothing is ever really deleted from your hard drive.

Do you have a CD burner? If so, do what I do and burn the files to disk for backups. Dont feel bad, Ive done that plenty of times in the past myself. ;)
