Welcome

From what you have said...you want to clear downloads that are "inactive"?

You can just select the ones you want to clear, and hit the little clear button below at the bottom. Poof! They're cleared.

Feel free to ask anything else.

The first step in Limewire is: Go to tools, then options to config and adjust your settings if you haven't already because under the option settings you can clear files is in the download settings. check it and apply to clear it and it will automatically do it for you.

Okay I restarted my computer because of an update and I got this message: Error: Your machine dose not appear to have an active internet connection or a firewall is blocking LW from acessing the intrenet LW will automatically keep trying to connect you to the network unless you select disconnect from the file menu.

I am behind a firewall and am on a multiconection internet router

Now I can search with it I just can't download anything anymore and I could a few days ago. the downlaods say either awating sources or queued.

Now I had winmx for a long time but had to get rid of it for various reasons. I found this after I discovered that winmx don't exist anymore.
